Ingredients

1 lb. (90/10 lean to fat ratio) ground beef
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. grated fresh ginger
1 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
1 tsp. low-sodium soy sauce
8 oz. shiitake mushrooms, stems removed, caps sliced ΒΌ-inch thick
1/2 tsp. toasted sesame oil
2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil, divided
1 ripe, Fresh California Avocado, seeded, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup finely julienned or shredded carrots
2 green onions, white and light green parts only, thinly sliced
4 large butter lettuce leaves
As needed sriracha for serving (optional)
