California Avocado Beef Patties

Ingredients

1 1 ripe, Fresh California Avocado
1 1/2 tsp. lemon juice, plus extra as needed
2 Tbsp. diced green chili peppers
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tsp. chopped green onion
1 clove garlic, minced or pressed
1/2 tsp. salt
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 cup shredded jack cheese
4 hamburger buns, split and toasted butter lettuce leaves
4 thin slices tomato

*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
