California Avocado Salsa Burgers

1/2 cup seeded and diced tomatoes
2 Tbsp. minced white onion
1/2 serrano pepper stemmed, seeded and minced, or more to taste
1 ripe, Fresh California Avocado peeled, seeded and diced
1 1/2 Tbsp. minced cilantro optional
1/2 tsp. sea salt divided
1 lb. lean ground turkey or chicken
4 Kaiser rolls, split (or your favorite buns/bread)
1 cup spring mix baby lettuces and greens
1/4 cup mayonnaise optional

*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
