California Avocado Toast with Goat Cheese

1 slice thick-cut, crusty sourdough bread
1 tsp. olive oil
1/4 ripe, Fresh California Avocado seeded, peeled and mashed
sea salt or to taste, optional
1 oz. herbed goat cheese pinched into small pieces
fresh cracked pepper or to taste
1 Tbsp. roasted sunflower seeds or chopped walnuts (optional)

*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
