Lebanese Guacamole

1/2 cup yellow or orange bell pepper, or jarred roasted pepper diced
4 ripe, Fresh California Avocado, seeded and diced
1 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
1/2 tsp. freshly grated lime zest
2 cloves garlic chopped
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
1/2 tsp. ground coriander
1/2 tsp. ground sumac
1 tsp. ground Aleppo pepper plus a sprinkle for garnish
1/4 cup chick peas (garbanzos) divided
1/2 tsp. sea salt or to taste

*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
