The Definitive Guacamole Recipe

1/2 white onion minced
2 cloves garlic minced
1/2 tsp. kosher salt plus more to taste
3 ripe, Fresh California Avocados seeded, peeled and diced
2 limes juiced
1 jalapeƱo, stemmed, seeded and minced (if you want more heat, leave seeds in)
1 tomato medium, minced
1/3 cup fresh cilantro chopped
1/8 tsp. freshly ground black pepper or to taste

*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
