- Place lettuce on salad plates and add one quarter of a Fresh California Avocado to each plate.
- With rind still on, cut Brie cheese into wedges of about 1 oz. each. Put on a microwave-safe plate and cook in microwave on high power for 5 to 15 seconds, or until cheese is warm and just starting to melt. Do not overcook.
- Add warm Brie wedges to each salad plate, drizzle all with dressing and serve.
For a main-meal salad, double the ingredient quantities and top the salad with grilled chicken breasts, fish or shrimp.
Try with a glass of sweet Sherry or Merlot.
*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
