Chef Dane Blom

A Sacramento native, Executive Chef Dane Blom’s earliest days in the restaurant industry date back to high school, where he discovered a passion for cooking that led him to attend the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. From there, he joined the team at Michelin-starred restaurant Terra in the Napa Valley before returning to his hometown. In 2007, Blom joined the Hawks Restaurant team, establishing his appreciation for high standards in the kitchen and working his way up to sous chef. Her served as chef de cuisine of Grange Restaurant & Bar from 2014-2017, when he returned briefly to Hawks. In February 2018, Chef Blom accepted the position of executive chef at Grange Restaurant & Bar. At Grange, Blom echoes the farm-to-fork culture long embraced at the restaurant and nurtures his team to learn and grow.
