California Avocado and Summer Fruit Salad

1 cantaloupe 1 honeydew melon 1 papaya 2 to 3 pears, peeled halved, cored and cut into desired shaped 1 cup strawberries, hulled 4 medium ripe Fresh California Avocados California Avocado Dressing 1 ripe Fresh California Avocado, mashed 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 cup fresh orange juice 2 Tbsp. honey 1/2 cup mayonnaise As needed hot sauce, optional
  1. Cut fruits into complementary shapes (cubes, dice or balls) and toss together. Spoon into a ripe avocado half.

California Avocado Dressing

  1. To make dressing, in processor or blender, blend avocado with lemon juice. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.

*Medium avocados are recommended for this recipe. A medium avocado averages about 6 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
