California Avocado and Summer Fruit Salad
|2||to 3 pears, peeled halved, cored and cut into desired shaped|
|4||medium ripe Fresh California Avocados|
|California Avocado Dressing|
|1||ripe Fresh California Avocado, mashed|
|2||Tbsp.||fresh lemon juice|
|1/2||cup||fresh orange juice|
|As needed||hot sauce, optional|
As with all fruits and vegetables, wash avocados before cutting. Check out our tips for how to choose and use California Avocados
- Cut fruits into complementary shapes (cubes, dice or balls) and toss together. Spoon into a ripe avocado half.
California Avocado Dressing
- To make dressing, in processor or blender, blend avocado with lemon juice. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
*Medium avocados are recommended for this recipe. A medium avocado averages about 6 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
