Did you know avocado is technically a fruit? Actually, I just found out it’s considered a berry which may be why it pairs beautifully with other berries like my all-time favorite, the blueberry.
From muffins to salsa this duo packs a punch of awesomeness and takes some rather ordinary dishes to a whole new level.
In the summer, however, there’s a third fruit many may not think of pairing with these two power houses: watermelon.
Is there a more quintessential summer experience then biting into the cool crisp flesh of watermelon on a hot day?
I don’t think so.
That’s why I added it into my new favorite summer wrap. Combine that crisp watermelon with creamy avocado and the pop of blueberries and it’s pretty much perfection on a plate.
Enjoy this wrap as a perfect summertime lunch.
