Ingredients1 slice bread (crusty artisan breads wheat, multigrain) 1/2 ripe, Fresh California Avocado, peeled, seeded and sliced 1 slice heirloom or beefsteak tomato 1/8 tsp. fresh cracked pepper, or to taste 1/8 tsp. sea salt, or to taste
- Toast 1 slice bread.
- Top with 1 slice heirloom or beefsteak tomato.
- Top with sliced avocado, sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired.
Serving Suggestion: Try with artisan breads, wheat, multigrain, our sourdough bread and swap the beefsteak tomato for an heirloom tomato or fried green tomato.
Beverage Pairing: Hot coffee, hot tea or orange juice.
*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
