Ingredients
2 slices seeded whole grain bread, toasted 1/2 ripe, Fresh California Avocado, peeled, seeded and sliced 1 sweet red apple, small, cored and sliced 4 strawberries, large, stemmed and sliced 2 Tbsp. chopped walnuts, toasted if desiredInstructions
- Top toast slices with alternating slices of avocado and apple.
- Place strawberries on top, then sprinkle with walnuts.
Serving Suggestion: Variation: Dice celery into mashed avocado, then spread on toast. Top with fruit and nuts.
Beverage Pairing: Sparkling water.
*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
