Ingredients
1 (12-in.) thin pizza crust 1/4 cup tomato pizza sauce 1 large tomato, sliced into 8 slices 8 oz. fresh mozzarella cheese ball(s) 1 ripe, Fresh California Avocado, seeded, peeled and sliced into 8 slices 1 cup arugula 1 Tbsp. olive oil 2 Tbsp. balsalmic glaze 1/2 oz. fresh basil, tornInstructions
- Preheat oven to the temperature specified on the pizza crust package.
- Place the crust on a pizza screen, pizza stone or large baking sheet lined with nonstick foil.
- Spread the pizza sauce starting in the center of the pizza out towards the edge leaving a 1” border for the crust.
- Lay the sliced tomatoes over the entire pizza.
- Tear and place the mozzarella cheese around the pizza making sure to space evenly.
- Place in the oven and cook for the time specified on the pizza crust package, or until the cheese is melted and crust is golden brown. Remove from oven.
- Lay the avocado slices on the pizza pointing towards the center and evenly spaced out.
- Place the arugula in the center of the pizza and drizzle with olive oil.
- Drizzle the entire pizza with balsamic glaze.
- Top the pizza with basil, cut into 8 even slices and serve.
Variations: Add additional toppings, such as pepperoni, sausage or prosciutto before baking the pizza.
Serving Suggestion: Serve hot on pizza stone or pizza platter.

*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
