Mashed or sliced California Avocados on toast are easy and delicious for breakfast or for a snack and can be added to in many ways for a craveable taste sensation. For this favorite, we pair avocado with tomato for a simple and tasty treat!

1 slice bread (crusty artisan breads wheat, multigrain) 1/2 ripe, Fresh California Avocado, peeled, seeded and sliced 1 slice heirloom or beefsteak tomato 1/8 tsp. fresh cracked pepper, or to taste 1/8 tsp. sea salt, or to taste
  1. Toast 1 slice bread.
  2. Top with 1 slice heirloom or beefsteak tomato.
  3. Top with sliced avocado, sprinkle with salt and pepper if desired.

Serving Suggestion: Try with artisan breads, wheat, multigrain, our sourdough bread and swap the beefsteak tomato for an heirloom tomato or fried green tomato.

Beverage Pairing: Hot coffee, hot tea or orange juice.
