A super quick and easy two-ingredient dip using just avocados and onion dip mix. Check the dip package ingredients – some are dairy free and vegan.

4 ripe, Fresh California Avocados, seeded, peeled and mashed 1 (0.5 oz.) package toasted onion or green onion dip mix
  1. Stir onion dip mix into mashed avocado. For best flavor chill for one half hour before serving.

Serving Suggestion: Top with minced chives, caramelized onions or fried onion strips. Serve with crisp vegetables or chips for dipping.

Beverage Pairing: Sherry wine.

*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
