Ras al hanout seasoning, the signature spice blend from Morocco, is the star of this flavorful guacamole – along with California Avocados, of course!

Start cooking

Serves: 8

4 ripe, Fresh California Avocados, peeled, seeded and coarsely mashed 1 Tbsp. ras al hanout seasoning blend 2 Tbsp. fresh orange juice 1/2 tsp. orange zest 1 small tomato, diced 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro, or spearmint, optional 1/2 tsp. sea salt, or to taste
  1. Gently combine avocado, ras al hanout, juice, zest, tomato, herbs and salt.
  2. Garnish and serve immediately.

Serving Suggestion: Top with slices of preserved or pickled lemon (available online) and serve with sesame seed crackers or fresh veggies.

Beverage Pairing: Sweetened mint tea

*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.

As with all fruits and vegetables, wash avocados before cutting. Check out our tips for how to choose and use California Avocados
