California Avocado, yogurt, simple syrup, chocolate and pistachios are a great combination for these frozen treats. But that’s not the end of the story, you get a good source of protein (14% DV), vitamin C, vitamin K (15% DV) and potassium (12% DV) along with an excellent source of fiber (32% DV) and iron.

Pops 2 ripe, Fresh California Avocados, seeded and peeled 1 cup plain whole milk yogurt 3/4 cup simple syrup 1/3 cup cocoa powder 1/8 tsp. sea salt Toppings 4 oz. dark chocolate, melted 1 cup pistachios, crushed
  1. Blend all pops ingredients in a blender until smooth.
  2. Pour into an 8-serving pop mold. Freeze overnight or at least 6 hours.
  3. Dip each popsicle into the melted dark chocolate. Sprinkle the crushed pistachios on top. Enjoy.

*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
