Garden Fresh Tomato and California Avocado Salsa
Nutritional Highlights (per serving)
|1||ripe Fresh California Avocado, peeled, seeded and cut into 1/4-inch cubes|
|1||cup||diced grape tomatoes|
|1/4||cup||coarsely chopped fresh cilantro|
|1||Tbsp.||Finely diced red onion|
|As needed||Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste|
As with all fruits and vegetables, wash avocados before cutting. Check out our tips for how to choose and use California Avocados
- In a large bowl, gently stir together the avocado, tomatoes, cilantro, onion, lime juice and chili powder until well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
