The Husbands That Cook invented a new vegan avocado guacamole with two different citrus fruits and nutritional yeast (also known as “nooch”) that add a slightly nutty and cheesy flavor to the dip. Wonderful!

4 ripe, Fresh California Avocados, seeded and peeled 2 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice, to taste 2 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lime juice, to taste 4 tsp. nutritional yeast flakes, plus more for garnish 2 tsp. finely minced white onion 2 tsp. finely minced jalapeño seeded and ribs removed, to taste 2 tsp. finely chopped cilantro, plus more for garnish 1 tsp. salt, to taste 1 tsp. hot sauce 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  1. In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients and mash to your desired consistency.
  2. Adjust citrus, salt and heat level to your taste preference.
  3. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh cilantro and a sprinkle of nutritional yeast.
  4. Enjoy!

Serving Suggestion: Serve on veggie burgers or a quesadilla, or even by itself as a great appetizer!

Beverage Pairing: Pair with your favorite sparkling water or a cold beer.
