Ingredients
1 raw garlic clove, cut in half 1 slice of sourdough bread, toasted 2 thin slices of tomatoes 1/2 ripe, Fresh California Avocado, seeded, peeled and cubed 1 tsp. balsamic vinegar 1/8 tsp. salt 3 fresh basil leaves, optionalInstructions
- Take the cut side of the garlic and rub one side of the sourdough bread with it.
- On the same side of the toast, layer on the tomato slices, cubed avocado, drizzle of balsamic, salt and basil leaves for garnish.
Serving Suggestion: This snack pairs wonderfully with a side of hummus and veggies. I recommend a garlic hummus and a side of crunchy vegetables like cucumbers, carrots or sugar snap peas.

*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
